Privacy policy

FindHogar S.A. is the data controller responsible for the personal information processed through the Platform. You can reach us at privacy@findhogar.com.

Account data: name, email, phone, password (hashed), avatar, role, and professional profile if applicable.

Listing data: properties, photos, descriptions, prices, and locations you publish.

Activity data: pages visited, searches, favourites, leads sent, messages exchanged, and device/browser metadata.

Payment data: when you purchase paid features, our payment provider processes card details. We never store full card numbers.

Operate and improve the Platform, authenticate users, deliver listings to interested buyers and renters, generate analytics for Professionals, send transactional notifications, and prevent fraud and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Performance of a contract (providing the Platform), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), consent (marketing communications, certain cookies), and legal obligations (tax, accounting, regulatory).

We share information with: (a) other users when necessary to deliver the service (for example, your contact details when you send a lead); (b) service providers (hosting, analytics, email, payments) that act on our instructions; (c) authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We retain personal data while your account is active and for the period required to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, port, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to privacy@findhogar.com.

Some of our service providers operate outside your country. When we transfer data internationally we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect it.

We use encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted password storage, and access controls to protect your data. No system is fully secure; if you suspect that your account has been compromised, write to security@findhogar.com immediately.

The Platform is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact privacy@findhogar.com and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
